Moving Forward
After nearly two decades built through the trust, partnerships, and relationships of incredible clients and collaborators, MKN Design is now closing. I will begin a new role with Meijer, I’m deeply grateful for everyone who made the journey meaningful and impactful.
After 17 years and 5 months, it’s not easy to put words around what MKN Design, LLC has meant to me.
What began as a simple step into starting MKN Design became a long, defining journey—one shaped by risk, resilience, trust, and an ongoing commitment to clarity and craft. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of partnering with remarkable people and clients, building work that I care deeply about, and learning what it truly means to lead, serve, and create with intention.
Running my own studio has stretched me in every direction—not just in strategy or as a designer, but as a person. It’s taught me how to navigate uncertainty, how to listen more closely, and how to hold both conviction and humility at the same time.
And now, I’m stepping into something new.
I’m grateful to share that I’ll be joining Meijer as Manager, Marketing Campaigns – Creative.
This decision didn’t come quickly. It’s one I’ve approached with a lot of thought and reflection. But I believe growth often asks us to step into new unfamiliar spaces—to apply what we’ve learned in new ways—and to trust that the foundation we’ve built will carry forward.
MKN Design will always be a meaningful part of my story. And to everyone who has been part of it—clients, collaborators, and friends—thank you for the trust, the opportunities, and the shared work along the way.
Who I am and how I work are not changing—they’re simply continuing into a new chapter.
